Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential Structure

Location: 27452 Streets Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday, November 1^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm (AFA) on Streets Road off John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be a residential AFA incident involving a hallway smoke detector.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were advised that verbal contact with the owners with proper passcode wishing to cancel as a result of a culinary mishap.

Rescue 80 continued to the incident location when it was authorized to return to its respective quarters.
