Nature: Medical Emergency – Assist with High Water Vehicle

On Tuesday morning, October 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad with a medical emergency by providing the high water vehicle access for the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad EMS to access a patient with a medical incident if needed.

Emergency response units included Utility 80-14 (High Water Vehicle) from the Oak Orchard facility to the designated via River Road.  The EMS responding units were notified to respond via Oak Orchard Road, Chief Road and onto River Road. 

Emergency response units did not utilize the assistance via the high-water vehicle because the area was navigable for all vehicles via the designated directions.
