Nature: Duty Crew – Station Preparations

Location: Oak Orchard, Delaware

On Friday evening, October 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted a specific work detail to coordinate the cleaning and preparation of the apparatus for the upcoming period of pending inclement weather and to have an available crew should an emergency situation be dispatched.

Personnel assisted with the engine bay and apparatus cleaning, cleaned and tested equipment and pursued training of the junior cadets on proper usage and maintenance of power tools.  Set up the newly acquired wet suits and reviewed the high water apparatus while officers conducted discussion and preplans for the pending inclement weather.
