Nature: Community Church of Oak Orchard – 60^th Anniversary Celebration

On Sunday, October 5^th, a cohort of members from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and Auxiliary attended the Community Church of Oak Orchard’s Diamond Jubilee.

The church was built in 1965 and has been providing ministry and outreach services to the local community for more than 60 years.  As many know, before the church was built, these services were held in the engine bay of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.  The celebration of this milestone commemorates the commitment of many community residents that faithfully served this congregation.

Since its founding this Community Church has been a pillar of strength, compassion, and spiritual guidance for our shared community.  Fox six decades, their congregation has dedicated itself to ministry and outreach – working tirelessly to serve its neighbors – from providing support and fellowship to countless individuals and families, to partnerships with local organizations.  This positive influence has been felt far and wide.  Their steadfast commitment and enduring relationship with our community have helped shape it into the wonderful place it is today. 

As we celebrate this milestone, we honor their history of service and recognize the profound impact they have made.

Therefore, we (the fire company and auxiliary) present a token of appreciation to the Community Church of Oak Orchard and thank them for their spiritual guidance.
