Location: 25664 Gum Tree Rd Dagsboro, DE 19939

 

On Tuesday morning, September 30th, many multiple aid companies were alerted to assist the Dagsboro (73) Fire Company with a residential explosion incident on Gum Tree Road near Dagsboro.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 which was originally assigned to provide a Rescue Standby Assignment to the Millsboro (83) Fire Company before being upgraded to an incident response.

Emergency response crew assignments included staffing and assistance at the manpower pool for duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Incident Command Structure was coordinated with the Sussex County Emergency Operations Mobile Command Post in conjunction with the Dagsboro Fire Company.

  • Sussex County Paramedics

  • Delaware State Police Aviation Unit – Trooper 2

  • Frankford EMS

  • Dagsboro EMS

Other specialty units:

  • Sussex County HAZ-MED Units

  • DECON Units

  • Arson Unit

  • Delaware Division of Forensic Sciences

  • Delaware State Fire School

Investigative agency units:
