Indian River VFC Team Participates in N. Millsboro Bypass Opening 5K Run/Walk

On Saturday, September 13^th, a cohort from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated in the N. Millsboro Bypass Opening 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

The event was a charity 5K with all proceeds benefiting the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, which supports children with cancer and funds research. The race took place on the newly completed North Millsboro Bypass in Delaware, before it officially opened to vehicle traffic. The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) hosted the event.
