Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm Sounding – Residential Location – Teal Drive

Location: 155 Teal Dr Creeks End, DE 19966

On Friday morning, September 5th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding in a residential structure on Teal Drive in the Creeks End development off Long Neck Road.  It was reported to be a heat detection alarm.

Emergency response units from Indian River include Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were notified while responding that the alarm was a heat detection in zone 19 but the occupant was not able to provide proper passcode.

All emergency response units were cancelled after arrival, discussion with the occupants and returned to their respective stations.
