Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential Structure

Location: 28036 Swallowtail Dr., The Peninsula, DE 19966

On Sunday evening, August 31^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident on Swallowtail Drive in the Peninsula development off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported as an audible fire alarm detection in a specific zone area.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Squad 80 and the Delaware State Fire Police from a designated pre-arranged standby event in Long Neck.

Emergency response crews were provided with a callback notification from the alarm company of proper passcode provided with a desire to cancel. 

All responding apparatus were cancelled and returned to their specific assignments.
