Nature: Fire Alarm – Commercial – Weis Market

Location:  Nanticoke Crossing Shopping Center

Address:  24832 John J. Williams Highway, Millsboro DE 19966

On Monday, August 25th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding in a commercial structure at the Weis Market on John J. Williams Highway. 

Emergency response apparatus from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew coordinated an exterior evaluation of the facility and discussed with workers that were present at the incident location.  It was identified to be contractors on location working with the system.

All emergency response units were authorized to return to their respective quarters after the line shut-off.
