Nature: Medical Emergency

City: Rehoboth Shores

On Monday afternoon, August 4th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad and Sussex County Paramedics with a medical emergency – landing zone assignment for an injured subject in the Rehoboth Shores development off Long Neck Road.

Emergency response personnel were able to evaluate the situation and reduced the assignment to the medical units on location.  All aviation units were cancelled.

All fire apparatus was cancelled as per the protocol discretion.
