Nature: Medical Emergency

City: Seafarers Village

On Friday morning, July 25th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad, the Millsboro EMS, and Sussex County Paramedics with a medical emergency in Seafarer’s Village off Long Neck Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Brush 80 from the Long Neck facility and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response personnel were able to evaluate the situation and reduced the assignment to the medical units on location.

All fire apparatus responding was cancelled as per the protocol discretion.
