Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm Sounding – Flycatcher Court – Peninsula Lakes

Location: 30566 Flycatcher Ct Peninsula Lakes, DE 19966

On Wednesday afternoon, January 29th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident at a residence on Flycatcher Court in the Peninsula Lakes development. It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm sounding at the residential location.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were provided an incident update while responding and it was identified that a second callback from the provider of the alarm company responded with proper passcode and discussed with the residential occupants before cancelling the call.

All responding apparatus was cancelled before arrival at the incident location.
