Nature: Alarm Sounding - Residential 

Location: 31045 Vacation Rd Holiday Pines, DE 19966

On Sunday, October 27th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Vacation Road in the Holiday Pines development off Friendship Road. It was reported that all alarms were sounding within the residential structure and could not identify any rationale for activation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

The Incident Command provided in an initial synopsis after performing a completed 360 evaluation and identified utility locations and incident conditions with nothing evident before commencing an interior evaluation.

Emergency response crews continued with an interior and exterior evaluation of the residential structure and was unable to identify any source of concern.  The property owner(s) were apprised of the status update with suggestions to make contact with a licensed repair person.

All units were permitted to return to their respective facility.
