Nature: Alarm Sounding - Residential

Location: 24156 Hammerhead Dr Stonewater Creek, DE 19966

On Saturday morning, October 24th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Hammerhead Drive in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 as well as Incident Command 80 from the Long Neck facility.

The incident was reviewed with an alarm company callback to the residential occupant and identified that incident was the result on a culinary mishap and wished to cancel the emergency response. Tanker 80 and Engine 80 did return to their respective quarters as Incident Command 80 responded to the incident location for evaluation and discussion with the residential occupants.
