Nature: Fire Nature Unknown

Location: 32718 Oak Orchard Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday, May 10^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a fire nature unknown on Oak Orchard Road.  The reporting person was unsure what was being burned but could see large flames near the house.

Emergency response units from Indian River were held at the station.

Emergency response personnel identified an inappropriate control burn and apprised the property owner of the current burn ban and proper burning procedures.  The property occupants were required to extinguish the fire.  

All other emergency response apparatus were cancelled while responding.
