Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 30566 Flycatcher Ct Peninsula Lakes, DE 19966

 On Saturday morning, the February 10 , the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Flycatcher Court in the Peninsula Lakes development off Bay Farm Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior 360 evaluation to identify conditions and location of utilities as well as an interior evaluation to identify the source of the alarm sounding.

After evaluation, it was determined to be a malfunctioning alarm system and the homeowner was advised. All units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
