Nature: Automatic Crash Notification

Location: Harmons Hill Rd and Indian Mission Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday afternoon, January 29^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Indian Mission Road at the Harmons Hill Road intersection involving two vehicles.  This incident was reported via the Automatic Crash Notification Systems.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency respond crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization, traffic control, fluid and debris recovery and overall incident mitigation efforts.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
