Early Friday morning, January 19th, the Indian River (80), Lewes (82), and Millsboro (83) fire companies were alerted for a residential structure fire on Pine Cone Drive in the Pot Nets Coveside development.  It was reported to be an active fire with Pot Nets Security going on location with fire showing through the roof.

Additional mutual companies were alerted for standby cover up assignments with Dagsboro (73) coming to Indian River’s facility.

The utility service providers were requested to the incident location for service discontinuation.

There were no injuries associated with the incident.  The displaced residents were able to make other housing accommodations.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.
