Indian River – Mourns the Passing of Firefighter Dean A. Cannon, Sr.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is saddened to announce the passing of fire company member - Dean A. Cannon, Sr.

Dean was an instrumental part of the fire company during his tenure with the Indian River and Lewes Fire Companies as well as the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  Dean served faithfully for many years assisting his community in times of need.

Dean applied to join the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company in July, 1989 and became instrumental in many duties and responsibilities during his active tenure over the next ten years.

Indian River extends its condolences and deepest gratitude to the families and loves of Dean.  We wish to offer the Cannon Family as well as any extended family and friends our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
