Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: West Kathryn Ct Baylis Estates, DE 19966

On Saturday morning, December 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on West Kathryn Court in the Baylis Estates development.  It was reported to be a residential structure with a second story smoke detectors sounding.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 form the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior and interior evaluation before placing the incident under control. 

After speaking with the residential occupants there was no known reason for the activation and the alarm was silenced prior to arrival of emergency apparatus.   All remaining responding apparatus was cancelled with all units returning to their respective quarters.
