Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector

Location: 85 Creek Dr Winding Creek Village, DE 19966

On Saturday, December 9^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident with possible CO concerns on Creek Drive in the Winding Creek development.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an interior and exterior residential of the structure with an effort to identify the rational for the alarm sounding, natural ventilation was initiated prior to the arrival of the fire company.  It was determined to be a faulty detector.

All units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
