Wednesday November, 15 2023Nature: Structural Fire TrainingLocation: Delaware State Fire School – Georgetown CampusOn Wednesday evening, November 15th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided training evolutions for structural firefighters to hone their knowledge, skills, and abilities at the Delaware State Fire School – Georgetown Campus.These structural firefighting trainings are designed to enhance the firefighter’s ability to operate as a team in a structural firefighting situation. The training reinforced basic skills and knowledge in search & rescue, firefighter safety & survival, methods of fire attack, ventilation, and other topics.The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge these recruits for their diligence and dedication and thank them for their volunteerism.Illustrated herewith are some photographs of the events. |
