Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector

Location: 20660 Brookfield Lane Stonewater Creek, DE 19966

Early Sunday morning, October 29^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Brookfield Lane in the Stonewater Creek development. It was reported via the alarm company and the property owner that the area of concern was CO detector activations.

Emergency response units from the Indian River included Engine #80-3 and Brush #80-0 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an interior and exterior residential of the structure with an effort to identify the rational for the alarm sounding.  It was determined to be a faulty detector.

All units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
