On Tuesday evening, October 24th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted the Joint Installation Ceremonies for the newly elected officers for the 2023-2024 terms of the Sussex County Fire Chiefs Association, the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighters Association, and the Sussex County Fire Police Association.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was pleased to host the Joint Installation Ceremonies because of the Installation of Joseph H. Thompson, III as the 2023-2024 President of the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighters Association.  Joseph hails from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company
