Nature: Alarm Sounding

On Sunday afternoon, October 15^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted multiple times for an alarm sounding incident at the Baywoods Clubhouse.  It was reported to be an accidental activation each time the alarm was sounding.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

It appears that activations were accidental however the silencing process allowed for multiple fire company alerts.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company assisted the personnel on scene with silencing and resetting the alarm system to prevent further alerts.  This facility was placed on officers call for the next 24 hours.

All units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
