Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 27003 Harbor Rd Pots Nets Bayside, DE 19966

On Tuesday, September 12^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Harbor Road in the Pot Nets Bayside development.  It was reported to be a family room smoke detector activation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an interior evaluation and discussion with the residential occupant.  It was determined to be a faulty detector.

All respective apparatus was permitted to return to their respective quarters.
