Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 28870 East Henry Place Baylis Estates, DE 19966

On Monday, September 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a residential alarm activation on East Henry Place in the Bayless development off Mount Joy Road.  It was a residential key pad activation at the aforementioned address. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an interior and exterior evaluation of the residential structure.

It appears that this was an accidental activation by the homeowner and assistance was provided to reset the residential alarm system.

All units were permitted to clear the incident and return to their respective station.
