Nature: Fire Prevention – Fire House & Apparatus Tour

Location: 32628 Oak Orchard Road – Station #1

On Thursday morning, August 24^th, the Growing Tree Preschool attended the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company for a pre-arranged fire prevention program at our Oak Orchard facility.

Approximately, 16 children attended this Fire Prevention Event and were provided an opportunity to meet neighborhood firefighters, tour the fire station, review and discuss apparatus and equipment, as well as a fire truck ride.

The children were provided individual brochures, fire helmets, frisbees and other material.
