Nature: Alarm Sounding

On Tuesday evening, August 22nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding at a residential structure on Banks Road.  It was reported to be an alarm sounding and both occupants were feeling sleepy.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior and interior evaluation. 

It was determined to be faulty detectors and replacement detectors were provided to the occupants.

All apparatus were cleared to return to their respective quarters.
