Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Indian Mission Rd and Hollymount Rd Harbeson, DE 19951

On Thursday afternoon, August 3^rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident at the intersection of Indian Mission Road Hollymount Roads.  It was reported to be two vehicle collision at the intersection.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response units from Indian River were cancelled prior to arrival at the incident location. 

It appears that a black Jeep Grand Cherokee and a blue KIA sedan collided at the intersection causing damage to both vehicles.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control making sure the vehicles were off the roadway.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
