Nature: Alarm Sounding

On Monday, April 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic alarm incident on Gazebo Way in the Gull Point development off River Road.  It was reported that fire alarms are going off inside the residential structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included evaluation of interior and exterior of the facility to ascertain the potential cause.  An additional evaluation of the interior was coordinated without identification of an actual issue. It was determined to be a faulty detector.

All units were authorized to return to their respective stations.
