Nature: Fire Police Request – Assist DSP – Vehicle Accident

Location: Indian Mission Rd and Silicato Dr Millsboro, DE 19966

On Thursday evening, January 5^th, the Delaware State Police (DSP) requested the assistance of the Delaware State Fire Police to coordinate traffic control at the intersection of Indian Mission Road and Silicato Drive.

It appears that a Ford Econoline work van and a Nissan Versa collided at the intersection of Indian Mission Road and Silicato Drive rending both vehicles inoperable. 

The responding Delaware State Fire Police officers were assisted with Utility 80-11 and everyone coordinated traffic control as well as fluid and debris clean up.  Traffic patterns along this segment of roadway were impacted for the duration of the incident.

The respective towing contractors coordinated the removal of the vehicles.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
