Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Long Neck Rd and Banks Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday, January 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road at the Banks Road intersection.  It was reported to be a two vehicle collision.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 and Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, traffic control, fluid and debris recovery, assistance with patient stabilization if needed, and incident mitigation.

It appears that a Toyota sedan and Honda Civic collided at the intersection causing front-end damage to both vehicles.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control activities for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
