Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector

Location: 25371 Rudder Rd Pot Nets Creekside, DE 19966

On Monday, December 19^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a carbon monoxide detector activation at the Rudder Road address in Pot Nets Creekside.  The local emergency services provider was dispatched to this incident location prior to the fire company request.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an evaluation to fully mitigate the incident with interior gas detector meter readings and advised the property owners to shut off heating systems as well as contacting a representative for appropriate repair and maintenance.
