Nature: Alarm Sounding

Address:  30133 Piping Plover Dr Peninsula Lakes, DE 19966

On Tuesday afternoon, November 22^nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding at Piping Plover Drive in Peninsula Lakes off Bay Farm Road. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew performed an interior and exterior evaluation of the residential structure as well as within the crawl space and could not ascertain any rationale for the alarm sounding.

After evaluation, the property owner was apprised of the situation and all units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.
