Nature: Duty Crew Assignment Gets Suprise Participant - Jeff Hilovsky

City: Station #2 – Long Neck Facility

On Saturday, November 5^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company coordinated a duty crew with specific assignments to be coordinated and performed at the Station #2 Long Neck facility.

The Duty Crew assignments were apparatus and facility cleaning and preparation as well as firefighter familiarization with designated apparatus and equipment.

An highlight of the Duty Crew responsibilities was that Jeff Hilovsky, Candidate for the Delaware House of Representative – 4^th District stopped by and joined the duty crew participants.

Dr. Jeff Hilovsky joined the firefighters with their duty crew apparatus and equipment familiarization efforts and was provided an overview of both Class A firefighting apparatus and equipment responding out of the Long Neck facility.
