Nature: Fire District Inclement Weather Assessment

Area:  Indian River Fire District

Location: Oak Orchard – Long Neck Area

Over the past few days, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company coordinated reviews of the low lying areas within the fire district analyzing the inland bay flooding concerns.

The coastal flooding impacts have been of concern based upon the passing inclement weather with winds pushing tidal water into these areas causing some flooding concerns with the possibility of additional rain accumulation.

Overall, the tidal flooding conditions continue to dissipate.

Illustrated herewith are various photographs of these survey assessments completed.
