Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: John J Williams Hwy and Warwick Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday evening, October 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Warwick Road.  It was reported to be a single vehicle into the wooded area.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included traffic control, vehicle stabilization and assistance with patient stabilization if needed.

It appears that a Buick sedan was traveling on John J. Williams Highway and left the roadway running into the wooded area. The occupants of the vehicle refused additional medical attention.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
