Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: John J Williams Hwy and Long Neck Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Saturday evening, September 3^rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity Long Neck Road.  It was reported to be a minor motor vehicle collision.

Emergency response unit response from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response crew assignment included assistance with traffic control where needed, vehicle stabilization if needed, and incident mitigation.

It appears that a green Jeep Renegade and a Cadillac Escalade collided while traveling on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of McDonalds.  All persons refused additional medical observations.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
