Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm

Location: 123 William Drive, William Ritter Manor, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Sunday, April 5th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm (AFA) incident at 123 William Drive, William Ritter Manor off of Bay Farm Road. It was reported to be an AFA incident from a residential structure.

Emergency response units include Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

It was identified as an unintentional incident as a result of unattentative cooking after apparatus were already responding. The responding units did arrive to evaluate the situation.
