On Friday, February 13th, the Indian River and Lewes fire departments were alerted to assist Rehoboth Beach with a structure fire on 1 King Creek Circle.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility, Engine #80-1 and Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crews were initally assigned to a staging area, and then assisted with water extraction and overhaul. 

The Delaware State Fire Marshall’s Office is invstigating.

Rehoboth Beach firefighters assisted by Lewes and Indian River Fire crews responded to a structure fire at the Kings Creek Country Club Clubhouse off of Country Club Road near Rehoboth Beach on Friday, February 13th at approx. 2:45pm.

Arriving units found a fire contained to the attic by the fire sprinkler system with a heavy smoke condition.

Damage was extensive due to water and heat and had crews on the scene for over 2 hours controlling the blaze.

The Delaware State Fire Marshall is investigating.

Firecrews were called to the clubhouse at Kings Creek Country Club this afternoon for a fire. The fire was in a fan in the attic and crews from Rehoboth, Lewes and Indian River found smoke showing when they arrived on the scene. The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
