Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: 24393 Big Oak Lane Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday, April 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Banks Road and Big Oak Lane involving a two vehicle collision.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad and the Delaware State Police.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, traffic control, as well as patient stabilization if needed. 

One person was transported to nearby medical facilities for additional observations.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
