Nature: Thank you - Chicken & Dumpling Dinner Event 

Location: Indian River Station #1 – Oak Orchard

On Saturday, February 19th, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Co., Inc. hosted a Chicken & Dumpling Dinner – Curbside Pick-up event.  As result of the many of the pandemic restrictions, the buffet breakfast and dinner events have been cancelled until further notice.  However, as an attempt to continue providing a service to our community, the Ladies Auxiliary are attempting to coordinate and develop activities that can augment their organizational purpose.

The curbside event provided a complete chicken & dumpling meal including but not limited to green breens, mashed potatoes, rolls, butter, and dessert between the hours of 4 p. – 6 p.  The event was hosted at our Oak Orchard Station and you would drive around the back of the facility and enter into one of the drive thru bays in order to finalize your order for pick-up.

The Ladies Auxiliary members were assisted with firefighters and fire police officers to provide guidance where needed.
