Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 25115 Bethesda Rd Georgetown, DE 19947

On Saturday evening, May 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist Georgetown Fire Company with a structure fire on Bethesda Road in the area of Gov. Stockley Road and Speedway Road. It was initially reported as a grease fire in the kitchen.

Emergency response crews from Indian River included Engine #80-1 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments were amendment while responding units were enroute to the incident – Engine #80-3 was cancelled and returned to their respective station; Engine #80-1 was re-assigned to a stand-by crew at Station #77 in Georgetown.
