Indian River’s Adopt-a-Highway Clean-up Day & Station Work Detail

Location:  Oak Orchard Road

On Saturday, April 19th, 2014, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company coordinated its Adopt-a-Highway Clean-up program and cleaned up the entire section of Oak Orchard Road as well as an additional station work detail to wash the fire company apparatus.

The thirteen (13) volunteers arrived at the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company in Oak Orchard and commenced with the clean-up activities picking up the roadside debris which accumulated approximately thirteen bags of trash.

Additional efforts were made to clean fire company apparatus as well.
