Location: Rehoboth Beach Sea Witch Event

On Saturday, October 30th, the Polaris All-Terrain Vehicle known as Polaris 80 from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was requested for a special duty assignment with the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company to assist with the Sea Witch Festival and Parade.

The specific event assignment was to stage at a predetermined location (Rehoboth Avenue and First Street) and to respond to any fire company on the south side of the city along with Ambulance 89 and EMS Polaris 87 which was staffed with one medic on board.

Overall, the unit responded to three medical events (two calls for injured subjects from a fall and one seizure incident) with one patient transported to Beebe Medical Center via Ambulance 89 with Sussex County Paremedics.
