Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: HYDRANT IN FRONT OF HOUSE

Address:  31467 Riverwood Rd., Stonewater Creek, DE 19966

On Saturday afternoon, October 30^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding on Riverwood Road in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included identification and determination for cause of alarm sounding and incident mitigation.

It appears that the alarm sounding incident was the result of inattentive cooking at the residence.

All emergency response units were cleared and authorized to return.
