WBOC’s Delmarva Life Highlights Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association

On Thursday, October 7, 2021, Indian River’s previous Fire Chief Steven C. Deery, Jr., and Christiana’s previous Fire Chief Brian Reeder are discussing the Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association and the operations of this association while representing all fire companies in the State of Delaware.

The televised airing will be Thursday evening, October 7th @ 5 p. on WBOC.

The Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association is the voice of fire line officer leadership in and for Delaware's Fire Service.  This association is a statewide organization comprised of Fire Chiefs, both past and present, devoted to furthering the needs of the fire service within the State of Delaware. The Association supports the fire service throughout the state by providing training, monitoring legislative issues, recruitment and other needs that help Fire Chiefs serve their respective communities better.

As you may recall, Steven C. Deery, Jr. is the Immediate Past President of the Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association serving a two-year term (2019-2020 and 2020-2021) and Brian Reeder is the new President of the Association commencing his term for 2021-2022 in September 2021 - http://irvfc.com/gallery/detail/43259?ss=1
