Thursday September 30, 2021 - Nature: Plaza Mexico Fire Prevention Initiative / Fundraiser - City: Millsboro

On Thursday, September 30^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and Plaza Mexico partnered together to offer a fundraising for the volunteer fire service in and for Long Neck.  Plaza Mexico offered to contribute a percentage of the daily food proceeds of September 30th to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.

Indian River provided fire company personnel all day to answer community or patron questions regarding the volunteer fire service and offer fire prevention and safety commentary, etc.

It appears that this event was a success and Indian River would like to acknowledge the community participants and Plaza Mexico for this initiative.
