Nature: Multi-family Residential Structure Fire

Location: Unit #1107 - 17054 North Brandt St., Villages of Five Points, DE 19958

On Sunday morning August 8^th, the Indian River (80), Milton (85), and Rehoboth Beach (86) fire companies were alerted to assist the Lewes (82) Fire Department with a multi-family residential structure fire on North Brandt Street in the Villages of Five Points.  It was reported to be a fire in the bathroom fan that spread into the wall and ceiling area.

Emergency response units from Indian River include Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response apparatus were assigned to staging areas pending further assignments when needed.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control and scene access where needed.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
